Mr. Ronniger started his aviation career as a civilian pilot in 1973. He flew for various companies and corporations in Salt Lake City over the next 12 years. In 1980, he was hired by Salt Lake Beechcraft as a charter pilot in their new charter department and within six months was promoted to the Chief Pilot and Director of Flight Operations. Over the next 5 years under his guidance, the charter department became the largest operation of its kind in Salt Lake City.
During these years in his flying career, he developed a sense that the majority of aviation customers were not being offered the level of service and integrity that he felt they deserved. With a change in management at Beechcraft Aircraft Corporation, he felt it was the right time to start a company that could provide this level of service and integrity that customers expected but were not receiving.
Corporate Wings was thus established with it's own aircraft sales, maintenance, charter and management departments. The company grew over the next several years. Eventually, the charter was eliminated because of the costs and time involved. Steve also determined that he would lose the personalized service he wanted to provide if he continued to grow in too many directions, thus in 1988 a decision was reached to remain small and personal, concentrating his services in the aircraft sales end of the market. In 1990, Corporate Wings moved from the Salt Lake International Airport to an office location with aircraft brokerage, acquisitions and consulting as the emphasis of the company an emphasis which continues to this day.
The company prides its self on the same superior level of service and integrity that it was established to provide and has remained small to continue this service. Steve's experience, depth of knowledge and expertise in all facets of corporate aviation gives Corporate Wings an advantage over similar companies.
